Amphibia

About

This blog is a spin-off of Amphibia, a Spanish-language blog originally called pablomancini.net.

Pablomancini.net was created and run exclusively by Pablo Mancini in 2003, but roughly around mid-2008, he decided to transform it into a group blog and changed its name to Amphibia. He then invited Rodrigo Orihuela and several other contributors on board (most of them seem to come and go, but are always welcome) and the blog became a place to comment and analyse the online media world and its trends – we avoid linking to breaking news and similar content.

Rodrigo and Pablo created english.amphibia.com.ar in an attempt to offer English-speakers information on the Spanish-speaking online media world.

Pablo is currently digital media manager at the Peruvian newspaper group El Comercio and a complete biography in English is available here (under the bio in Spanish).

Rodrigo is an online editor at the Argentine national newspaper Perfil. His English bio is here (under the bio in Spanish).
